What you need to know about the game

If you want to play a good game with your friends, family or just wander around the Zsolnay Cultural Quarter for two, you have come to the right place!

During the Zsolnay Adventure, you do not have to solve imaginative tasks in a closed room or cellar, but in the beautiful park of the Zsolnay Cultural Quarter!

Vilmos Zsolnay

Our goal was to introduce you to the iconic Quarter of the city from the point of view of Vilmos Zsolnay, and while you are trying to solve the tasks, we will guide you through the main phases of Vilmos' life, the major stages and backstories of the history of the Zsolnay Factory.

 

Of course, don't think of it as a quiz about the city, the emphasis here is on inventiveness and on logic .

The code

To start playing, you will need a unique code, which you can get in two ways:

If you want to play immediately after the checkout purchase, ask the seller for the current code, take a map with you and click on the "Let's start" tab to start the adventure!

If you don't want to play right away, or if you bought your ticket as a gift or purchased online, we'll send you the starting code by email. To do this, you only need to send an e-mail to info@zarthelyipecs.hu . Send us the unique ID of the ticket you purchased and when you would like to play, and we will send you a reply email with the starter code and any other information you may need.

If you already have the code

If you asked at the ticket office for the current code after purchase, the "Let's start" tab to start your adventure.

If you purchased your ticket online and sent us the unique ID by email, you will receive a reply with the code for the day of your choice and all other information necessary for departure. Just follow the instructions in the email.

 

 

No need to book an appointment in advance

Best of all, you don't have to arrive at a pre-booked time, but you can start playing whenever you want. Current opening hours of the Zsolnay Cultural Quarter and information on how to get there AVAILABLE HERE!

You will have 3 months from the date of purchase of the ticket and 48 hours from the date you sent the game. If you have to interrupt for any reason (weather, etc.), just let us know at the above e-mail address when, at which station, why you stopped playing and when you would like to resume and we will inform you about what to do next. 

Map

All you need to play is a good company, comfortable shoes, a pen/pencil, some mobile internet, and the map we gave you, which you can pick up at the info points of the Zsolnay Cultural Quarter or ask for when buying tickets.

Infopoints: Zsolnay Quarter Visitor Center is open Monday to Sunday from 10 am to 6 pm, Zsolnay Infopont &shop is open from Tuesday to Sunday from 9 am to 5 pm.

At the gate on Major Street you can pick up maps from 0 to 24.

On the map you will find for each station QR codes. This is so that if you ever step out in the heat of the game, you can use the camera to jump right back to where you were. To do this, we recommend that you write down the passwords of each station that you have decrypted.


If you get stuck

If you get stuck, you can also get help online. 

There will always be help, and you will find the answer on each page so that you can play through the Zsolnay Adventure. It is important that you always use the map and the information displayed on the phone and the things you see in each location together when solving tasks.

Take the time to play, because sometimes you will wander around the Quarter, as the game is also about exploring! The map will help you find direction.

The game takes about 2 hours to play and is roughly 2 km walking.

Team

The game is designed for 2-4 people, but it can handle another 1 people. We recommend that you follow the game on at least 2 phones over 2 people.

Recommended age: over 10 years

Process

You can cancel the game at any time if you are disturbed by the weather or anything, as you have 48 hours from the start of the game to play. All you have to do is email us when and why the game was interrupted and when you would like to continue.

If 48 hours is not enough, let us know that too, we will solve everything.

Practical information

You can arrive by public transport, but you can also park around the Zsolnay Cultural Quarter, as the game is designed so that you will arrive back at the starting point at the end of the adventure.
